Originally from the UK, I started learning tenor drum at age 14 and by 18 had also learned the Snare Drum. I moved to the USA at 21 and had lessons with several instructors and judges, including TyFry and Bob Meade. I began playing bass at 26 and studied under Bob Meade and Sally Warburton.

I've competed with and led several bands successfully in competitions up and down the south east; including the Gr4 EUSPBA champions, and winning several bass drummer of the day awards.

In 2015 I began researching and developing my mallets with the guidance of Bob Meade, and input from several others.

In 2020 I began a YouTube Channel to help share knowledge and the fun that comes with Highland Drumming.

As an Instructor I can also provide solo pipe band drumming lessons and band workshops.
